The study programme Financial management is performed in Shtip and at the dispersed studies in Strumica. The basic characteristic of the Faculty in the first year of accomplishing higher-educational activity is the tendency to acquire greater quality of education and educational process as well as constant modernization. Since the beginnings we realized the need for establishment of dispersed regional centers of education for students in certain towns of the Republic of Macedonia, and therefore in the next academic year, the students enrolled on the Faculty of Economics in Shtip can attend their teachings and exercises in Shtip and Strumica. We want to particularly inform the future students that the Faculty has bravely entered in the reformation of the higher education in accordance with the Bologna declaration of ECTS. The curriculum and syllabi are based on the European credit-transfer system (European Credits Transfer System – ECTS), i.e. credit system of studying. With the ECTS an opportunity should be created, the studying period in foreign country (including the exams and other forms of evaluation) to be recognized as effectively equivalent compared to the studying period (including the exams and other forms of evaluation) in the home institution, besides the probable differences in the contents of the programmes. An opportunity for mobility is enabled with ECTS within the frameworks of the programmes Erasmus/Socrates.
ECTS is based on three basic elements: Information (about the study programme and the progress of the students), mutual agreement (between the partner institutions and the student) and application of ECTS credits (for denoting the scope of work of the student). The study programmes are adjusted in accordance with the Bologna declaration, and therefore the studying regime is transformed to 3+1+1. There are three courses at the Faculty of Economics: |
